If one of y'all is already working on the recycle bucket project: I plan on making a slide show of the recycle project, which includes various photos of my production of them. I have a song picked out, it's called Mismoplastico, which translates from Spanish to English as "same plastic." During one portion of the song it would be fantastic to show pictures of people in other regions producing such buckets.

1. Bucket from Wal-Mart (Rubbermaid Ruffneck 26 gal.). 2. a box knife 3. transparent plastic folders (at least green for the recycle logo, and whatever you'd want for another logo if you chose to have one). 4. A touch-on touch-off night light at Wal-Mart 5. Internal structure for protecting the light, battery, and wires in the night light: try to work on this. I've got a temporary solution, but I'd like to improve on it. 6. Also, for the Texas Flag, I tape the proper sized folder cutouts onto a plastic sheet (it is the plastic that one puts paper into to protect it from the rain, as well as for presentation. I cut it in half...so it's not two sheets). Then I put that finished flag into one of the plastic casings.
Cost: A finished bucket costs about $15.
Adhesive: let me know if you find a glue that works. I hear that liquid nails may work as well as "Grip It." Currently I am using packaging tape for the logos.

Good luck love

Thanks for the advice. It sounds like a good project. I'll look around at what kinds of things we have around here to do such a thing.

Best of luck darlin'!

Currently I am working on a "Texas Recycle" project. I am customizing 26 gal. cans. There is a daytime photo of one in my album. The logos will be lit at night, like an "exit" sign. I am going to try to recycle at the major events in the Austin area (Houston, San Antonio, Dallas are close enough...+/- 3 hour drive). Anyhow, I think some of y'all should take on the project as well. Obviously there is still a problem with not recycling at major events.

Matt

Also, you will want to coordinate the recycling well in advance (at least 6 months methinks).
