Well, I'm not in Indy, but I'm a hooper in Muncie (only 45 min NE). I'm not going to the String Cheese Incident, but would LOVE to get together to hoop sometime. Been looking for other hoopers for a few months now.

Every Saturday from 6 to 9pm at the Heorot (downtown Walnut Street Muncie) on the second floor there will be an open drum circle with dancers, and me a hoopin'! Come on out and join in the fun. 21+

Hey all you Indy (and surrounding area) hoopers - do you know anything about this video?

      www.hoopnotica.com/special-offers

I'm too far away to come and learn for all of you, but hooping looks like so much fun that I wouldn't mind trying it....

I don't know anything about this video, unfortunately. :( If anyone knows of a good video I'd love a recommendation!

I don't know anything about this video, but I DO know that hoopnotica are great, know what they are talking about, and have been at this hooping thing for a while now.

Also, if you are looking for videos that are informative and that you can learn from, the hooping videos tribe is a GREAT resource here on tribe. Not necessarily something you plug into the vcr/dvd, but still a great resource. And the best part, if you have a question there are people on there who will either point you in the direction of the info you seek or help you out themselves....many times posting a video about a move that you've asked about specificially.

Also, if you don't mind me asking, where are you in this fine state of Indiana? There's always a possibility that I'll be headed there or at least near there and I try to have a hoop on me at all times. I'm all over and am always willing to travel to meet new people, especially if I already know they share similar interests.

Anybody know of a good indoor practice space? It's getting cold and kind of hard to hoop in a coat! :) I'm also looking for places/events to fire hoop.
